The main objective of the process is to prepare a Comprehensive & Equitable Safety Action Plan (CESAP) covering the entire City of Cleveland Heights.
Project Goals
Community Engagement
Conduct a public engagement process that enables all members of the Cleveland Heights community to participate.
Technical Advisory Committee
Convene a Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) composed of technical experts and stakeholders to meet with and advise the consultant team and City staff throughout the process.
Prepare CESAP
Prepare a Comprehensive & Equitable Safety Action Plan (CESAP) covering the entire city of Cleveland Heights. The CESAP will prioritize evidence-based infrastructure recommendations that address the data findings from research and engagement process.
Safe Street Visuals & Vision Zero Toolkit
Develop graphic visualizations that communicate and illustrate proven safety interventions, context-sensitive design solutions, and multi modal roadway plans. Create a Vision Zero Toolkit to assist the City and other partnering agencies by identifying specific steps for implementation.
Implementation Grant Application
Assist City staff in the preparation of demonstration projects and submission materials for future Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant cycles.
