  • Taylor Road Corridor Study (2021)

    Cleveland Heights, along with the City of University Heights, obtained a Transportation for Livable Communities (TLCI) planning grant from NOACA to identify ways to make Taylor Road safer and more desirable for people biking and walking. Recommendations from the study include bicycle facilities, road diet, midblock crossing improvements, walkable zoning and streetscape standards.

  • Compton Road Greenway (2019)

    The Compton Road Greenway Study is a sustainable, forward-thinking and equitable initiative to examine opportunities to create a safe and connected greenway from the neighborhood to Cain Park. The end goal is to provide comfortable pedestrian and bicyclist conditions, while sparking additional community reinvestment. Based on innovative principles of complete and green streets, of which the City has a nationally recognized framework, a connected and multi-modal complete street along Compton Road has the potential to serve the nearby residents, while setting an example for future urban street design. The Study was completed in 2019 and implementation began in 2022.

  • City of Cleveland Heights Master Plan (2017)

    The City of Cleveland Heights Master Plan outlines our community’s vision for the future and then describes specific action steps that can be undertaken to accomplish them. The Master Plan allows the city to assess whether policies and actions currently undertaken are addressing needs and accomplishing long-term goals.
